In Communication Technology class, the idea is for students to be using the projects they are working on in other classes (also senior project) to demonstrate proficiency with digital communication tools. This would work best if I could somehow collaborate with the teachers who have seniors to identify what their tasks are and help guide them to tools that fulfill the requirements of the rubric.
Maybe we could have a brief meeting to review the rubric together and match up some tools to some of the projects and assignments you have planned? (I guess that's what this site is supposed to take the place of...) If anyone wants to have a discussion here, I'd be up for it...

Here is the rubric (subject to some modification)
The images might be too small to read but I think if you click they will enlarge...

Example

Here is an example of how we imagined that this blog might be used, but it is meant to be a common virtual planning space. Feel free to post about whatever you like, add a page, leave comments, whatever.

Example Post:

I am planning a unit in African American History about the rise of the music culture in Chicago in the first few decades of the 20th century. I'm looking for supplementary materials or any arts integration opportunities.  Any ideas?

(Check the comments for an example response.)
